Here, the purity of the lines prevails, enhancing an exceptional setting. This villa was designed to benefit from nature and the Provençal sunlight, highlighting the opening to the outside. We are in a lived-in area of the country, in the municipality of Celony, a small village, right in the middle of pine woods, however only 10 minutes from Aix-en-Provence.At the centre of a magnificent 2500m2 terrain, bounded by low dry stonewalls, the pool extends the wooden patio onto which the ground floor rooms overlook. There are few limits between inside and outside the house, vast pocket doors open the space onto the garden.Facing the pool, the large living space leads into the kitchen/dining room at an angle. For each meal, there is the choice between the outdoor dining room, and the large table in the kitchen. Whatever the weather, you will always have the impression of outdoor living!The decoration of the living room is understated, sophisticated, and very elegant; an atmosphere of comfort and une conciergerie emerges. The numerous masks and African statues bring a touch of exoticism and shows off the taste of the owners on their travels. The kitchen area is a model of modern comfort, with a bar and top of the line appliances concealed behind beautiful wood facades. There are two bedrooms on the garden level, on the other side of the living area, also opening onto the patio – the master bedroom with a double bed, and a children’s bedroom with a single bed. They share a lovely updated original bathroom, equipped with a bath and a shower. The other three bedrooms are on the floor. There is a double bedroom with adjoining shower room, a single bedroom, a spare bedroom with double sofa bed, and a bathroom with an Italian shower. The double and single rooms open out onto a vast patio, designed to resemble the deck of a ship, overlooking the garden, pool, and the surrounding trees.Linens, sheets and towels are provided. The beds will be freshly made on arrival. Weekly housekeeping is included with the rental, along with cleaning on deprture. A gardener manages the pool and garden. You will find toiletries in the bathrooms and a gourmet food basket in the kitchen.
