Located in the town of Eguilles, a Provencal village northwest of Aix en Provence, this little cocoon is ideal for recharging your batteries and spending a “chic and nature” stay with family or friends.
This typical Provençal house, completely restored with taste, has been designed and redesigned so that your stay takes place in the best conditions of comfort and une conciergerie.
The region and the environment:
La Maison du Sud is located 10 minutes northwest of Aix en Provence, between the sea and the hinterland, not far from the Gorges du Verdon (lake of Sainte-Croix or Esparron), heart of Provence Green, but also 35 minutes from the nearest beaches (Carry Le Rouet, La Ciotat, Le Rove, Ensuès la Redonne…).
Eguilles offers a fabulous panorama of the chain of the star, the Etang de Berre and the famous Sainte-Victoire mountain. You will stroll with pleasure in the narrow streets of the old village nestled at the foot of its 17th century castle. You will come across beautiful old houses, old washhouses with weathered stones. You will discover, in the darkness of a majestic entrance, Paul Odobez's clock, which has been in operation for almost 131 years. You will then be impressed by the mass of the counterweights of this rare piece...

Southern houses:
It has a terrace on the ground floor, in the inner courtyard in front of the entrance to the house with garden table and resting area, and a second more intimate terrace on the 1st floor where the whirlpool bath is located.
Covering an area of approximately 105 m2, on 3 levels, it consists of an entrance hall with lounge area with TV, dining area for 4 people, and a very bright open kitchen, all opening onto the main terrace with table and chairs.
On floor 1, a bedroom with double bed (160x200) and cupboards, bathroom (bath, washbasin), and a small lounge area with sofa and TV, to read or rest, directly opening onto the 2nd terrace with bath whirlpool.
On floor 2, a sleeping area with trundle bed (2 90x190 beds) for 2 people, and a bathroom with shower basin and toilet.
Free parking space in front of the house. Beware of the elderly or people with reduced mobility due to the many stairs.
Equipment: Washing machine, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, kettle, multifunction oven, microwave, large fridge with freezer compartment, 4-burner induction hob and extractor hood. Plenty of storage, kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery
