A keen on horse, do not miss the Horse Festival in Calas in April: during three days, the equine animal is put in the spotlight, through numerous animations, as well as the traditional ceremony of blessing of horses at The Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette chapel.
Do you like classical music? The Easter Festival is held every year in several emblematic places: the Conservatoire, the Théâtre du Jeu de Paume, the Grand Théâtre de Provence, and also in the Cathedral of Saint-Sauveur.
In summer, the festival is in full swing at Aix! On the day of the Saint-Jean (summer solstice), a great flame from Catalonia is wandered through the streets of Aix before setting ablaze the Place de General de Gaulle.
